The Herald 13/60 is in our opinion the best looking of all the Heralds, with the original Giovanni Michelotti design and borrowing some of the front styling from the Vitesse it also benefits from much improved performance thanks to the 1296cc engine and a revised interior.
The Triumph Herald is an iconic British classic that’s instantly recognisable and much loved amongst car enthusiasts. With all of the parts still easily available they make for great easy to own classics that will take you straight back to the 60’s.
This Herald 13/60 has been in the same family since new, having passed from father to daughter when the father passed away.
It has very low mileage and has always been kept garaged, and it shows. The car, whilst not cosmetically perfect, presents very well indeed and we think that the slight patina of age is befitting of such an original car.
Easy to drive and with a long MOT, it’s perfect for an easy going classic car experience.
Ones with this low mileage and staying in one family from new don’t come up often, so get bidding, it won’t be around for long.

Thanks to careful ownership and the low mileage the interior is in very good condition and the tan vinyl seats, matching carpets and wooden dashboard look fantastic and make driving this car a relaxed and pleasurable experience that few modern cars can match.
The chrome surrounded gauges look great against the wooden dash and everything works exactly as it should.

The car presents well overall and makes a good first impression with its distinctive styling that is very much of its time.
The exterior is entirely original, from the paint through the brightwork to the window seals and whilst it has clearly benefited from being kept garaged. There are some areas that could do with attention as shown in the images, but they are cosmetic and the car is ready to be driven as it is.

With its low mileage and having been kept dry this Herald is in very good condition mechanically.
Throughout its history it has had fairly long periods without use in storage and has recently been recommissioned and made ready to drive ready for the new owner.
As can be seen in the images the engine bay and underside are both in good condition and the car starts easily and sounds great. The owner reports that it drives exactly as it should and with MOT until next March it’s ready to enjoy.
