The Appeal
The Land Rover Series III represents the final evolution of the original Land Rover concept, retaining the rugged simplicity and unmatched off-road capability that made these vehicles legendary. This 1984 109" long-wheelbase model was originally supplied to the Ministry of Defence in Salisbury, and it remains remarkably original and very well preserved - having spent its first decade on an Airfield and finally passing on to its last engineer owner who has meticulously maintained it for the past 22 years.
This Series III retains its original grey bodywork from its military service days and presents in very good condition throughout. With just 76,000 miles recorded, a solid rust-free chassis, and original features intact, this is a grand proposition for the Landie enthusiast.
