Well-specified P38-era Range Rover, fitted with the flagship 4.6 V8 ‘Thor’ powerplant
Understood to be one of fewer than 10 UK examples finished in the attractive shade of Monte Carlo Blue
Replacement steering box fitted in September 2025
Purchased by seller’s late father in 2023 and kept dry-stored
Current MOT to September 2026 with no advisories
The Appeal
Introduced in 1994 as the long-awaited successor to the original Range Rover, the P38 combined the marque’s trademark off-road capability with improved on-road refinement, comfort and technology. While the familiar upright styling remained unmistakably Range Rover, the new generation introduced a more luxurious cabin along with a host of modern electronic systems and convenience features.
Finished in handsome Monte Carlo Blue and powered by the range-topping 4.6-litre V8, ours is a particularly desirable example of the breed, believed to be one of just 10 UK-market cars specified in this colour and configuration. Offering the ideal blend of comfort, refinement, performance and all-terrain ability for which the model became renowned, it would make a superb retro daily driver or highly capable long-distance touring companion at the hands of its new custodian.image.png1.45 MB

However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
