The Appeal
The X358 was the last of the classically-styled XJs, its aluminium bodywork echoing the lines of the original saloon introduced exactly 40 years previously. It is a clever facelift that arguably produces the best-looking of the X350 models.
This 2008 example adds the sort of specification that will appeal to anyone who plans to use and enjoy their big cat. It has the economical but usefully powerful twin turbo 2.7L V6 diesel engine and the elevated Sovereign specification. Finished in burgundy metallic with cream leather and burr walnut, it is a particularly attractive example of these later cars.
The vendor acquired the car in 2021 and has continued to look after it well. It was last serviced at 98,000 miles - now showing 104,000 miles - and benefits from attention to the handbrake and rear suspension in recent years. The air conditioning was regassed in 2023. The current MOT runs to March 2026 with no advisories.
The vendor says:
“Extremely smooth running. Comfortable quiet ride with abundant power when needed.”

OfferenteBuon pomeriggio. Puoi confermare che il climatizzatore funziona? Ho visto che è stato ricaricato due volte nello storico e vorrei solo accertarmi che non ci sia una perdita.
