- Aftermarket overmats protect the blue carpeting

- Very few imperfections, with the only discernible blemishes being superficial
- Small dent in the chrome radiator grill although the brightwork is otherwise excellent
- Smart wheels, shod with whitewall tyres which have only covered a few hundred miles
- Fully undersealed according to the vendor
- Very straight bodywork, with good panel alignment and door shuts
- No corrosion we could discern
- Presents really well underneath
The Mechanics
- 7.5-litre V8
- Starts, runs and drives really well
- Supple suspension, making it a fantastic cruiser
- No untoward noises, leaks or idiosyncrasies
- Changes gear smoothly via a 3-speed automatic gearbox
- Brakes well and in a straight line

Few cars have such incredible presence as a Lincoln Continental Mark V and this 1978 Diamond Jubilee Edition has to be the ultimate version.
