Westfield SEiW, first registered in 1997.
It has a Ford Pinto 205 bored out to 2100 with Hepolite Pistons, converted to unleaded, piper cam, twin Weber 45s and type 9 gearbox. I was assured by the previous owner that the car was dyno'd at 160bhp but unable to find the sheet. It certainly feels like it!
Overall in great condition for its age and it starts and goes well. Passed MOT fine (Nov 2022)
Has wet weather gear (doors, roof) and all the electrics (lights etc.) work well.
I bought the car last year after it has been stored for several years. I replaced the battery, fuel pump, oil/ filters, brake fluid, timing belt, spark plugs and then just tidied up the interior and misc parts bulbs etc. Had no issues with the car since. Only selling as I haven't been able to use as much as I'd like.
Also included is another exhaust silencer, spare steering wheel, the original Pinto cam, and various other spare parts.
There is a large history file full of receipts, old MOTs, V5s, invoices etc. as well as the original build manuals and order forms. The documentation is comprehensive and shows considerable effort and expense going into this vehicle.
I am the third owner of this vehicle.
The exterior is in good condition, there are a few hairline/ thin cracks (didn't show in photos well) on the arches etc near some of the fixings. The roof is also in good condition with no rips etc.
The paint is in good condition and the wheels are also tidy with no corrosion etc. Mirrors all fine and badges look good.
Overall, the car looks great and is quite a head-turner but bear in mind it was registered in 1997 so has been around a while!
The seats and carpets are good condition, I had removed the interior (seats, belts, carpets, tunnel cover) when I bought it and had it all thoroughly cleaned. The dash has no cracks, all gaiters, steering wheel etc. all look good, no problems. All instruments work fine. Has harnesses and these also work great.
The pinto pulls really well and the vehicle stops excellently. The gearbox is good and changes well, recently flushed/ bled clutch and breaks so they work well. All the electrics, lights, heater, wipers etc. work fine. The car starts well and sounds excellent! It currently has a cherry bomb exhaust on.
The vehicle originally had a 1. 6 Sierra engine but this was later replaced. The vehicle also had a replacement chassis a number of years ago.
