This is my 2005 E46 320ci (Facelift/ LCI) M Sport manual finished in Monaco Blue on grey leather interior (see full factory spec list in photos) with 7 previous owners and 132, 537 Miles, the mileage will increase slightly as I am still using it. The android head unit will be removed and replaced with the original radio upon sale.
I have owned this car since 2021 and have driven it daily, it pulls strongly in every gear, changes gear smoothly, stops as it should and has never left me stranded. It has just had new rear Falken FK520 Tyres and had the front 2 tyres replaced to Avon ZV7's in August 2022 which still have plenty of tread left. The E46 Coupe is a timeless looking car and looks fantastic on MV2 alloys, the paint is in fantastic condition as is the interior. I am only selling as I have just bought an E46 330Ci!
It has a partial service history (pictured) and has been serviced myself for the past 2 services, receipts for parts used included, it has 3 keys, one being the emergency key. It has just passed MOT with some advisories, I am fitting a new propshaft donut along with front brake discs this week and the oil sump gasket is being replaced on Monday 13/ 03/ 2023 by Cotswold BMW Cheltenham. This is to try and rectify the majority of the advisories.
I have spent a receipted amount of £1716. 58 on mechanical maintenance over the past 2 years, some of which being typical E46 issues, the typical issues rectified are as follows:
Both rear wheel bearings replaced, one by ACG Auto Repairs and the other by Cotswold BMW Cheltenham
Expansion tank and radiator replacement by ACG Auto Repairs
Both front Track Rod Ends and both Front Lower Control Arms replaced by ACG Auto Repairs
Rocker Cover Gasket replaced by Cotswold BMW Cheltenham
Disa Valve replaced by me
Being 18 years old however, the car does still have it's small cosmetic and mechanical issues, these are as follows:
All wheels are in need of a refurb, it is not something that ever bothered me so I didn't do it
Rust, all E46's suffer from rust, the rust on this car is some bubbling on the front right and left wing and the rear right arch, none of the rust is major however and will not be an advisory on an MOT for a long time. The rear left arch seems to be fairly clean, all the rust is pictured
It will need to have another alignment done in 1000-2000 miles, this is because the bottom arms have only recently been replaced and it will need another alignment after they are fully broken in
Air con has a slight leak, when re gassed it lasts 4 months so again, not something that bothered me
There are a few small scratches and pin dents on the car, none are major and to be expected on an 18 year old car
The drivers seat bolster is starting to wear
