This wonderful car has been a pleasure to own. The car’s colour is Moondust Metallic and the audio system is the Volvo HU-603 which has CD and Cassette drives in addition to the radio (Very classic retro).
New tyres were fitted in 2020 and the timing belt and geartronic gearbox oil have been changed to the Volvo schedule.
The car is generally in good condition but has a few 'scuffs' on the lower front panel (near the fog lights)' and the lacquer or plastic coating on the roof edge trim is becoming stained. Internally it is clean and tidy with the carpets showing hardly any wear from their 20 year life.
I have owned this car since it was new and have a full Main Dealer and Volvo Specialist service history. It was last serviced at the beginning of March 2023. Receipts are available to view from the original purchase onwards.
The MOT runs out in March 2024. The last MOT had 6 advisories against the usual 1 or none. They included a headlight adjuster (which was fixed), an undertray obscuring view, a weak exhaust hanger, rear brake discs worn, and 2 suspension arm bushes worn but without excessive movement. The MOT tester was new so I assume over zealous!
The powerful engine and geartronic automatic gearbox give a smooth ride and the comfortable seats make a long journey almost a pleasure.
The car, over its lifetime, has been reliable with no major failures and has served me very well. But now I must reluctantly sell what is now becoming a classic.
