For sale a extremely rare opportunity to purchase the 2002 Benelli Tornado Tre 900 LE special edition motorcycle. Number 57 of only 150 ever manufactured in this example and it had 0 miles on the clock having been delivered to myself from its owner in its original Factory crate. Having never been registered the motorcycle had been dry stored up until I purchased it. It was in a showroom without fuel or even a connected battery. The original homologation special 900 LE, complete with carbon bodywork, Ohlins, Marchesinis wheels. The heart of the Tornado is its Benelli-designed transverse triple which reminds slightly of more recent Triumph engines but is even rortier and more potent. The gearbox is a fairly conventional, fault-free six-speeder transferring final drive through a chain. All Benelli Tornados LE's came fitted with the then finest brakes c/ o compatriot Benelli’s top of the range big 320mm discs and four-piston callipers. Full titanium exhaust as standard. It is still in showroom condition as I have kept it in a air chamber , please see picture . I have the NOVA certificate and dating certificate which was needed for registering, I did this and its now on a age related plate of 2002 which all the LE's were produced in. I have two keys the owners manual , the cover , stand and box of race bits which came with the bike. I have all previous MOT's and evidence of the factory upgrade the Z25 gear being done. Currently SORN and MOT'd until July . This bike is still not properly not run in at 1450 miles and is part of my collection it is not for the faint hearted and sounds amazing, if the engine bark and noise from the air induction doesn't get your adrenaline going nothing will, the exhaust noise going the the gears is addictive , you will just want more. I do have a genuine reason for sale but I'm in no rush as its a work of art in my garage, This bike in 2002 was £23000 a real homologation machine same as the Honda RC45 or Yamaha R7 just this one is Italian and full of character and charm.
