A mint condition unit of the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series. This is a LJ73 LX (removable hardtop and folding windscreen), with the indestructible 2. 4 Turbodiesel engine (Japanese engine code 2LT), disconnectable all wheel drive (4x4 or 4x2), gearbox and differential lock. Spanish car originally registered in Melilla, always in the south of Spain, totally rust free.
It has almost all the optional equipment from the factory, including air conditioning, weight adjustable seats, adjustable steering column, exclusive wheels, disconnectable front hubs, roll bars, running boards and tow ball.
Bodywork completely restored five years ago, painted in its original colour, underbody with anti-gravel treatment, all chrome, new door handles, door mirrors, lights and indicators.
Rebuilt from scratch mechanically (no reconditioned or replacement engine), all original parts:
Engine block ground, bored and jacketed: new pistons, connecting rods, piston rings and crankshaft.
Completely new cylinder head: block, gaskets, valves, seats, rocker arms, camshaft and camshaft.
New and new cooling circuit: radiator, water pump, timing belt, hoses and viscose
New intake, injectors, fuel pump, exhaust pipe and turbocharger
All four shock absorbers, brake circuit, brake hoses and brake pads new
New clutch, seals and gearbox bearings
New interior upholstery (carpets) and loudspeakers, original seat upholstery in perfect condition
New BF Goodrich All Terrain T/ A K02 tyres incl. spare tyres
All these works are documented with invoices for more than 13. 000 Euro in the last two years alone. Mechanically the car has only 1. 000 km (still in running-in), and the vehicle has 182. 200 km. A beautiful specimen and a true icon of the classic 4x4 70 series Land Cruiser, indestructible, with no electronics or exterior plastics, and in immaculate and original condition, very hard to find.
