A stunning looking classic speedway bike from the 1950’s. This chrome framed Rotrax Mk1 has a magnesium cased 500 JAP speedway engine - JOS/ S, Amal type 27 twin bowl carb, BTH Dirt Track magneto, Dunlop rims, DT countershaft etc.
It’s very hard to find one of these highly sought-after models in this condition - good original but with race used character. Please study all of the photos.
It turns over freely with very strong compression, piston and bore appear good for the age, clutch works fine. Rear tyre has a flat spot from standing a long time, obviously it would need new fuel lines and thorough checks before any use.
