This is a unique 1989 Saab 900 t16s and well known in the Saab world.
I bought the car 4 years ago when I found it for sale while looking for a Saab 96. I recognised that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to own such a wonderful example of this model due to all the work, time and money that had been invested in it by the then owner.
I am only now selling the car as my main interest is classic motorbikes and the Saab does not get used enough.
Modifications and upgrades as follows ( verifiable by a mountain of receipts and invoices from Abbott Racing Motorsport as well as an usb stick with photo history of the restoration).
Engine bores honed.
Wossner B202 forged alloy pistons.
Stage 1 camshafts.
3. 3 bar fuel pressure regulator.
Lightweight flywheel.
Improved turbo charger.
Abbott racing charge cooler system.
Custom built S/ S exhaust manifold & exhaust system.
Engine management software adjusted to produce 230 bhp up from 175 bhp
Gear box fully rebuilt with limited slip diff.
New clutch and short-shift gear change mechanism fitted which improves gear change precision.
Uprated brakes with new components.
Koni gas shocks all round.
The standard 15" wheels were replaced with a set of genuine Carlsson 16" alloys.
Steering rack replaced with reconditioned unit.
New tyres.
New Saab A/ C added.
Headlight units re-chromed and front and side indicators now have clear lenses.
New headlining and all seats re-upholstered with half leather. Door panels replaced to match seats.
Full bare metal respray in original Odoardo grey metalic paint.
New zone-tinted front windscreen & new electrically heated rear.
New modern Blaupunkt Sydney 220BT radio unit with amp and high quality speakers in front and rear.
Remote control insurance approved Lazerline alarm/ immobilser together with 2 keys.
Zircotec coating on turbo, exhaust manifold and down pipe.
New radiator.
Saab Carlsson steering wheel. (original included in sale).
MOT carried out on 19th April 2023.

There are 11 owners prior to myself. The previous owner bought the car in 2012 and sold it to me in 2019.
I have, as stated previously, extensive documented history of all the works carried out. Abbott Racing Motorsport carried out the majority of the restoration & upgrades when the car was in their shop between March 2014 and August 2016. The total cost of all the work to achieve this unique Saab 900 t16s was £43, 000.
This is no ordinary Saab 900t16s. It is probably the best available in the UK. It is a unique car, find another one or build another one for this money.
Sale price £22500 ono. This Saab was one of only 263 two door models built in Finland for the UK market and introduced in 1989 for one year only. These rare models are much sought after especially in this condition,
This car won "Best in Class" at the 2016 Saab Owners Club National meeting in South Wales. (The trophy will be included with the sale of the car as will some Saab books).
