Regretfully selling my treasured ZRX1100C4 due to health reasons, unfortunately, this bike is just too big and heavy for me now and it needs to go to someone who can appreciate and use it.
Please check the mileage and MOT history, 4770 miles only, Mot'd until 26/ 5/ 24, i'm sure this must be the lowest mileage one for sale in the UK, and it's in the best colour scheme.
The green version just didn't do it for me as its not the correct Z1100R Eddie Lawson replica colours.
This is the firecracker red scheme which pays homage to the Gpz series of the 80s and is much harder to find.
The previous owner did a thorough recommissioning of the bike as it had stood indoors unused for some time so it had all the fluids done, new stainless brake lines, tyres etc fitted. When I got it I had the valve clearances checked and replaced the fuel tap bolt 0 rings and that's it, i just took it for little runs to bike meets etc where it always draws attention.
I genuinely doubt you will find a cleaner more original one for sale, these can only become more collectible so please check the photos and I'm happy to provide any further info, eg video etc. The price is firm, No offers, (see below my reduction and offer of parts) and payable by bank transfer only, a non returnable deposit of £200 will be required within 48 hours, the bike can be held for 14 days pending collection when the full balance of £5600 must be paid as above.
I am close to main train station and Edinburgh airport, the bike is filled with £30 of fresh Shell V power, you could ride it home easily.
I can however recommend an excellent bike courier and will help to arrange delivery provided the full price of £5800 is in my account prior to pick up.
Livingston is on the main motorway network so courier costs are very reasonable, e. g. £150 to Derby recently.
I have reduced the price to allow for this, but I really dont mind if I have to let it appreciate in garage for the next few years, it could be in yours!Original apart from the rear mudguard which has been cut down as seemed to be the fashion, gel battery, rack, handbook, haynes manual, exhaust very solid, although being cast iron headers a common mod is to replace with stainless ones which are readily available. I can provide free a set of ZRX 1200 stainless headers which need a paint, they do however require an aftermarket silencer to be fitted as the standard 1100 one doesn't fit and the 1200 one is a massive heavy thing! This is worth £100 alone and I have also a printed version of the factory workshop manual running to 300 pages in an A4 binder, no finger marks.
