For sale is my 1993 (K-Reg) Saab 900 T16S (175 BHP Full Pressure Turbo) Automatic Classic Convertible in the very striking colour 'Le Mans Blue'. The car has a very high specification for its era, including the original Aero bodykit and electric blue hood.
This is the rarer and much more sought after 900 T16S Full Pressure Turbo model and it is not to be confused with the 900 S LPT Low Pressure Turbo model. When new. these T16S Aero models were highly desirable as the top of the range Saab 900 model, with a much higher retail price. Also, being a K-Reg from 1993, it is one of the more sought-after later Classic Convertibles.
The car has a long MOT until 25th March 2024 and the total mileage is 149, 791.
This is a very honest, solid and original example of this appreciating modern classic. The cosmetic and mechanical condition are excellent overall. The car is driving very well and has always been carefully driven and maintained to a high standard. Cosmetically for its age the bodywork on the car is superb overall, with no visible rust, and also the car has had no structural welding carried out on the sills or suspension points etc, which can sometimes be an issue with the Classic 900. The interior and boot area are excellent, with the grey leather seats, walnut dashboard and carpeting all being in great condition. The electrical hood is fully functioning, as are all the main features of the car. Four new Dunlop SP Sport tyres have recently been fitted within the last 1500 miles. Please check the MOT History of the car on the DVLA website, to see that it has been passing MOT's very well with no major issues, and also that it has been covering very little mileage in recent years.
The car is now over thirty years old, and is not a perfect, showroom example, but again I feel an excellent and honest original one.
I have added lots of photos including close ups of all the major areas of the car for interested parties to study, to show its genuine condition. Also, as you can see there is lots of paperwork, many previous MOTS's, service history and original owner's folder and manual etc included. The original hood tonneau cover and case, which are in excellent condition, are also included.

This is a reluctant sale due to a change in circumstances, resulting in the car being used even less recently.
Thank you very much for looking. The vehicle was registered in January 1993, and was supplied new by the main dealer Haymill Saab in Farnham Common, near Slough. I have owner the vehicle since January 2006, so over 17 years, and it has been a much loved and treasured vehicle. Over this period it has been used very lightly, in dry weather only, and has not covered more than 1000 miles a year in my ownership (very often just a few hundred a year).
