Tula T-200-M, Russian copy of the German 1950s Goggo scooter .
It has been cosmetically restored a few years ago in Ukraine then imported by a Ukrainian mechanic who I bought it from .
He set about rebuilding the engine , new bearings and seals and new top end and clutch. It's done about 5 miles on that.
It has a 12v bosch dynastart style ignition with electric start and a kickstart .
I have had it running and been round the block .
To be on the road properly it needs some small commissioning, the tyres are USSR so need renewing (not a problem they are 4. 00x10 and there are plenty of those as Heinkels and many others use them or the newer metric equivalent size)
Some of the assembly work needs going over and the drive chain needs adjusting or renewing , again not really a big deal there , the chain should have a cover that is missing .
I have sorted the front end , reassembling the dash and lamp nacelle properly , and fitted all new ball bearings and grease to the steering.
There is some paperwork history and even a long YouTube video of the Ukrainian guys rebuild somewhere (but it is all in Ukrainian).
Surprisingly given the war parts can be found on ebay quite cheap usually from UA or Latvia etc even an electronic ignition kit because it shares a lot of generic engine parts right up to the Tula Muravey 3 wheeler which went into the 90s at least .
UK reg with V5 and T+T free historic class. They have given it a 1965 reg but there is some evidence that it was probably built 1962.
I bought it last year with the intention of putting it on the road and using it but realistically I have too many scooters and vehicles and it's getting like spinning plates keeping up with jobs so I need to trim the fleet a bit.
