Up for sale is my pride and joy, a very nicely converted Mazda Bongo, with the optional 4WD system and factory auto free top (pop top) Its also the 2. 5 turbo diesel version.
As you'll be able to tell in the photos the campervan is in quite good condition for the age, it has M. O. T till June next year and has passed the last 2 Mot's with zero advisories. Mechanically the bongo is extremely good, having just had a complete refresh of the engines top end with a Brand New O. E. quality Cylinder Head, new Cambelt, new Thermostat, new waterpump gasket, full service including Coolant, Quality Oil, Oil filter, Fuel filter and more. Its also now got a low coolant alarm system fitted (contactless with no modification apart from adhesive to the header tank)
The previous owner also loved this thing dearly taking it back and fourth to Barcelona and spent a lot of money keeping it in tip top condition, in his ownership it has had a new fuel pump totaling £1300, a new gearbox and torque converter at £2, 100, the injectors reconditioned and much, much more.. the folder of history I have with this van is very extensive and will require whoever is looking to spend some time looking through it all. Anything that needed doing on this van the previous owner did without hesitation.
The campervan is also lovely inside, it has a full side conversion featuring a Dometic Hob and Sink combo (with a glass top), filtered running water, storage up top and below, an electric hookup system, a leisure battery (quite fresh, still in warranty I believe) and more I have probably forgotten. The AFT (pop top) also has no rips or tears and is clean and comfortable inside.
I wouldn't be selling my campervan if it wasn't for a crash I had in my other vehicle last Monday making it near impossible now for me as a young driver to get insurance on this. I'm absolutely gutted and reading this you'll probably be able to tell.. lol
I'll be sad seeing this go but I can't have it sitting in our garage forever only having occasional use from my father.
