Description
1954 Triumph TR2 short door. I have owned the car for 40 years plus. It is an older restoration that had new body panels, wings, inner and outer sills, boot liner, back valance, 'a' posts and door skins. Engine with new pistons and liners and SAH cylinder head. Although it doesn't have a windscreen fitted, there is a windscreen frame with a new glass to fit. Stainless steel exhaust, with high torque starter motor fitted. It comes with a number of spares including new steering ball joints, brake cylinder, front bumper, rear lights and rubber seals, spare diff/ back axle and leaf spring. The car could benefit form a general tidy up and some electrical work to bring it back to good running order. A lovely 1950's classic sports car with aero screens that gives it a period racing look and has always looked the part when taken to the Goodwood revival.
