Beskrivning
I'm selling my 2000 E46 BMW 330Ci convertible in Titan/ Titanium Silver. It has 82, 000 miles and an MOT to June 2024 with zero advisories. I've owned it as a weekend car for three years. It's not been driven on wet roads since I bought it, and has been dry stored over the winters. Previous owner maintained it had been garaged for their ownership as part of a small fleet.
BMW main dealer servicing for first 10 years up to 68k / 2010. Service history documented since, in line with limited mileage. (Details in pictures)
Since I've owned it I've fixed the usual vacuum leak problem, refreshed the rear suspension, sorted the wheels and tyres, replaced most serviceable items and replaced or refurbished a few tired components and trim. All major items, sensors etc have been original BMW parts. Service items with good-quality OEM (full list in pictures). I've also just had the underbody V-brace powder-coated and refitted it with original BMW bolts.
The car is ULEZ compliant, and has been registered with TfL for ULEZ, DVLA for the English CAZs and the Scottish LEZs.
Comes with:
Four (yes, four) original keys including original dealer keyring.
Original bookpack in leather wallet, plus about an inch of receipts and history.
Full original first aid kit under passenger seat
Full original tool kit and warning triangle in boot lid.
Original grey mats included. I have a set of cheap black ones I use when working on the car which I can throw in.
One minor niggle with the car is an intermittent fault with the driver's door not locking from the remote key. I'll include a new genuine door actuator and butyl tape for a repair, or you can just lock it with the key. It has a few stone chips and minor bumper marks as you'd expect for a 23 year old car.
Optional extras:
As-new BMW foldable wind deflector and case £250; full-size spare (matching style alloy wheel, needs a refurb) £50; Brembo front discs and pads £100; Powder coated anti-roll bars front and rear £150. I also have a set of original 18in wheels (MV1) if you want a sportier look or an extra set for winter tyres - these need refurbishing so will be £200.
I'm selling because I have too many cars (including another 330Ci convertible) but I'm not in a rush and the value of these is only going one way, so please don't start trying to negotiate until you've seen the car. I'm not interested in swaps or trade ins. If you want to test drive I'll want proof of fully comp insurance naming the car, or the asking price in my hand or my account, otherwise happy to take you out in it. As well as being one of the best-looking cars ever made, and benefiting from one of the greatest naturally aspirated straight six engines, the E46 330Ci is my exact idea of a modern classic. It's new and high enough spec to be as comfortable as a modern car, and is more than capable of keeping up with modern traffic, but it's also simple enough to be both an enjoyable drive, and a viable proposition to do most of the maintenance yourself, if you're so inclined. If not, BMW specialists are easy to find. The non-Sport version with the smaller wheels and gentler suspension suits a convertible well. I like them so much I bought two - after 3 years it's sadly time for this one to find a new home so the other one can get the time and attention it needs.
