Regretfully I have come to the decision it is time to sell my BSA outfit. I have enjoyed it for a number of years now but health issues have hampered usage so it’s time to let someone else get enjoyment from it. I acquired it from an older VMCC a club member friend in 2010. He had owned it since 1985.
This is a 1931 model and was registered in 1932. Age related number but reviously history can be traced from its original buff log book included which shows just another couple of long ownerships from new. It has a twin port 500cc OHV engine which starts easily and runs/ rides well. This is the S31-10 Deluxe model which was fitted with the instrument panel. It has a lovely period Swallow ‘Launch’ type sidecar fitted which has been reupholstered in my ownership. The rest of the bike is as I bought it. This seems to be described as ‘oily rag’ now. I personally love its used patina and it always draws a crowd.
Sadly it does need to go now so all sensible near offers will be carefully considered. May consider selling separately but prefer to sell complete.
