New boot and bonnet enamel SAAB/ SCANIA badges. An appreciating future classic, I bought the car in 2012, and then passed it on to my daughter in 2015, used as a daily until the ULEZ expansion has forced sale. It has been the most reliable, dependable and characterful car we have ever owned, and are both very sad to see it go.
Anyone checking its MOT history will see advisories for underneath corrosion and front brake disks. I have just had it checked by my usual MOT mechanic, not the garage in Surrey where it was last MOT’d and he says that he wouldn’t have given advisories for either, it is sound underneath and the brake disks are fine. The Surrey mechanic was being over cautious for some reason only known to himself!
