Description
For sale here is something of a unique vehicle, please bear with me as this description is fairly comprehensive and there's a lot to talk about!
This camper was converted by Leisuredrive, a reputable company that has been going since the 1960’s.
This is not like other campers, in that it has been converted properly by a reputable coach-builder. The van is insulated and all units are of high quality with a good RIB bed.
The van was converted in 2009 and I have all the original files / paperwork / spec sheet.
The van has never been smoked in and there are no odd smells, stains or sand.
An exceptionally cared for van and excellent condition for the age.

The van is the desirable 1. 9tdi which is quick enough yet uncomplicated and efficient. For those that know, the 2. 5tdi can have expensive problems and not uncommon to see a van for sale with a recon engine. Not this one.
This also has the benefit of full service history with stacks of receipts.
It has been always serviced at the same place and very no expense has been spared.
The van has recently had an MOT, full service, cam change and four new tyres all round – all matching and all branded.
There are no advisories outstanding on the vehicle.
The van I approaching just 88, 000 miles.
The van has a pop-top roof with opening front and side windows. This pops up side ways and utilising space well.
The van itself is finished in Candy White with a resprayed pastelturkis blue bottom half (close to the 1970’s bays), cost £1800 recently. It didn’t need any bod6 repairs, just a preference on colour and what we liked at shows to more it unique.
Leisuredrive original invoice and instruction manuals included.
The timing belt was replaced at approx 73k miles with invoice.
Registered as a “motorcaravan” with DVLA so safe to unsure and again a properly converted van.
The van drives faultlessly.
All documentation included - the V5, every old Mot + the current one, every maintenance/ service invoice since the van was new right up to present date, service book, handbooks, 2 working keys
The conversion costs alone were well in excess of £20k and it shows in the quality of the materials and workmanship.
