1984 Husqvarna WR250 Classic Vintage Twinshock Enduro Motorcycle
Unrestored and totally original Husqvarna WR250 ready for classic competition if desired. Total time warp model and reputedly one of the best handling twin shocks.
Eligible for Classic Welsh 2 day (CE1) and a host of other twin shock Enduros. Competed in 2020 Welsh Two Day and 2022 Brechfa Rally. It has a 12. 5 litre fuel capacity but sold with additional Kriega rear tail pack for fuel and tools.
Road registered with all certificates of conformity a V5 and taxed with a fresh MOT (expiring September 2024).
Original plastic fuel tank which does not leak. Ultra rare Enduro gearbox which is a peach. Super compliant suspension and incredibly comfortable seat.
Freshly rebuilt engine (using new piston) & rebuilt gearbox (with new 715 & 390 gears). New front fork seals. New Mikuni carburettor jetted to original spec by HVA factory.
New petcock tap and brake light switch, stop light and headlight. New sidestand, New rear brake cable, enduro ignition, throttle set, new handguards and renthal grips.
Excellent original rims with Michelin Enduro Medium tyres with ultra heavy duty innertubes and just had 1. 25 litres of best quality Silkolene light gearbox oil, which will need changing as soon as its run in.
Please note the bike was believed to be a 240WR but was classed as a 250 by the DVLA. However, we left the 240 stickers on it as interestingly it is believed to have attracted a lower tax rate in France.
