For sale is my beautiful and award-winning 1976 Mercedes-Benz W115 240D 3. 0 (OM617) Manual.
If you’re looking for an absolute clean and head-turning classic then this one is for you. By far one of the most cleanest W114/ W115 in the UK.
Note: every single modification on this vehicle is completely reversible and fully bolt-on, meaning that nothing was cut/ tampered or made to fit. I have all the original parts with the car which will be included to ensure the buyer can revert the vehicle back to how it came from factory!
Extremely well looked after, maintained and cared for car.
Since purchase, every single receipt, invoice and document has been filed away for proof of repair/ maintenance/ modification.

Car Details:
* 1976 Mercedes-Benz W115 (facelift model, one of the very last ever built)
* 240D 3. 0 (OM617) straight-5 cylinder
* Mileage - 6665 KM
* 4 speed manual gearbox
* Historic tax, no MOT etc (nice and cheap ownership)
* Always dry stored, only used as a weekend/ show car
* I believe it was imported from Germany late 80s/ early 90s to the UK
* Extremely good on fuel - not that it matters with a car like this but it’s always a bonus
* 2/ 3 spare keys
* All buttons/ electrics & power steering work perfectly
General Rundown:
- Full professional respray in original Caledonia Green, in January 2022 (windows-out, bumpers off, fully stripped job etc)
** Extremely rare and beautiful colour. Gets attention absolutely everywhere you go!**
- Underside is mint - all rust removed and treated, completely undersealed
- BRAND NEW Airlift Performance 3P + BRAND NEW BAGS by Only Charged Dubs (2 x Viair 444C Compressor chrome, 3/ 8 airlines - all brand new) installed by BaggedBenzUk in April 2022 with receipts and invoices to prove.
Everything works perfectly, like brand new still - at most covered MAXIMUM 600 miles since install!
Most importantly, everything is fully bolt-on and fully reversible. Chassis was not cut, modified or tampered with in any way.
Complete original suspension in very good condition is included in sale!
- Absolutely stunning and attention-grabbing custom boot build by BaggedBenzUk.
- Remotec Mesh alloy wheels (extremely rare and pricey) 16x8 & 16x9 * Perfect fitment, tucks very nicely without touching anything) No spacers or modifications needed to fit.
Interior:
- Original tan brown leatherette interior
Seats are absolutely MINT, like new. No tears, rips or damage.
- Pre-facelift iconic steering wheel (much nicer) but original facelift steering wheel will be included in sale too.
- Retro style single-din head unit (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, MP3 etc). Fits in well and suits the interior, I pair my phone to the bluetooth all the time and it works perfectly.
Original centre dash speaker, works as it should.
- All windows open and close without issues.
Engine & Mechanical:
- 240D 3. 0 (OM617) straight-5 cylinder “OM617 is considered to be one of the most reliable engines ever produced with engines often reaching over 1, 000, 000 km without being rebuilt”

With the above being said, this car runs and drives exactly how it should do and is without a doubt the most reliable car I’ve ever come across.
Cheap and easy maintenance with parts available for it from all across the world!
- New brake calipers, discs + pads, brake hoses and brake lines all around.
Will include all the spare parts that I have with the car:
* Complete original standard suspension (very good condition)
* Original Mercedes steelies with tyres + whitewalls (very good condition)
* Original facelift steering wheel (very good condition)
* Spare chrome trims and bits that could be useful
* Genuine and rare double bar front bumper from the W114 + 6 cylinder specs (easily worth £300/£400) * if the sale price is right*
Not so good bits (if you’re picky):
* Chrome trims/ pieces could do with a polish to bring it up to showroom condition
* Drivers side floor mat has seen better days and could do with being replaced
I have most definitely missed out on a few bits as there’s just too much to say about this car and the attention to detail that has gone into this build.
