Registered new 08/ 1991 and supplied by Three Cross Motorcycles in Dorset, I have the original sales receipt (£9231. 00) as well as the one where it went to the second owner. I have a huge file of receipts and old MOT’s along with some massive bills for custom parts. It appears all of the work done on this bike over the years was carried out by professionals and was done right. The bike looks to have been in almost constant use since and the mileage looks to be correct from the MOT history. I have run it for 2 summers and put a couple thousand trouble free miles on it. Now for sale as I bought a springer project and really don’t need two Evos.
Bought from a local specialist Harley dealers (Weatherley's Motorcycles) this was something of an impulse buy on my part. Over the last two years I have used the bike continuously and it’s absolutely brilliant and over a lot of miles it’s not missed a beat, runs great and never uses or looses oil. If it’s stood for a few weeks it’s a little slow to fire but has never not started. If used regularly it fires right up and runs perfect. There are obvious signs of use and a few stone chips in the black paint but other than that this Evo is a dream to own, runs smooth and pulls hard. If you want a get on and go classic this is IT.
Originally dressed as a Softail Custom there has been a lot of very expensive but subtle custom work done on the bike. I’m told it’s fitted with a Night Train rear end allowing the fitment of the massive 240 rear tyre which I have just replaced a week ago. Had a new battery about 6 months ago. I have a receipt for a “Super-Ass” swingarm kit as well as the primary spacer kit. There’s a chunky 16” wheel out front and some expensive brake callipers. That’s a lot of money right there. Overall the custom work completed leaves the bike looking like it might have rolled out the factory that way.
There are just too many details to list here so please take a careful look at the pictures. This is a genuine Evo Harley with reasonable miles for it’s age that has a lot of history, has been in constant use and only shows 3 owners, the last of which I was told was a Harley mechanic (Black Bear I think).
I have the V5 in my name. The MOT runs to August 2024.
This is a genuine bike at a genuine and reasonable price that’s ready to be ridden away and enjoyed.
Sorry, not interested in lowball offers, dreamers or tossers with no money. Serious buyers only please!
I'm available by phone 9-5 weekdays on the details below (Graham).
