This car was the subject of a series of videos on the Furious Driving YouTube channel where it was resurrected from a garden in South London. It was cleaned up, polished, serviced and MOT'd - then I acquired it.
Since then I've had the cam belt replaced, replaced the brakes, MAF sensor, wheeltrims and used it daily.
Its not perfect - the paint isn't as good as it left the factory, there are some useage dings (car parks etc) and the rear arches could do with some TLC. The heater works, but I think the vacuum switch controlling the vents has failed so its stuck on the windscreen - and the aircon needs a regas.
It'll drive anywhere in the country without issue (in my opinion - no warranty given on implied!!) and its super comfy... there is a reason why so many folks bought these.
It has just passed its MOT so has valid ticket until January 2025…This is a survivor car - watch the videos on YouTube about it to get a feel for the amount of work that has gone into getting it this far. It starts on the button, it drives well and has been really reliable.
The problem is, my wife struggles with it (too big) and so we need to sell it to buy something a little smaller - and so we are looking for someone to take the car to the next level and continue its story.
