Loss of storage and my mechanical wizard brother its time for me to sell my Audi avant. She has the 2. 0 litre 5 cylinder injection engine with 5 speed manual transmission. Mot till 15th Oct 2024. Only done 6k miles since 2016 and been stored inside.
Full engine service done in 2020 and she has not been used since.
She starts immediately and runs and drives very well with plenty of power and torque. No rattles just quiet and comfortable. smooth
She has roof rails and a sun roof, and electric front windows. Central locking was working until about a month ago.
She is rot free but her paintwork is poor having laquer peel and scratches in the laquer on the bonnet. There is a small ding in one rear door and some surface rust on the tailgate.
The mileage will increase as i'm enjoying using her so much. Hence her price i'm not asking £14 grand!!
These cars were way ahead of their time with their wind cheating design and galvanised bodies. She could do with some tidying up but is a very useable classic as is. Only 3 former keepers she has been well maintained with the previous owner replacing all the injection pipes and doing the cam belt. I have fitted an new door handle and ignition switch, both of which packed up.
