2008 BMW 320i auto cabriolet.
Specified with Sapphire Black Metallic over full Saddle Nappa leather, this car has covered fewer than 80, 000 miles from new. The car has mostly seen light summer use, certainly with us since purchasing two years ago, and has only covered 12, 000 miles in that time.
The engine is refined and powerful, and the 6 speed automatic gearbox is smooth and changes gear as it should in either ?Normal?, ?Sport? and ?Manual? modes. A replacement engine was fitted earlier in 2023, and the service history is good. Tyre condition is good, and the car is on run flat tyres as specified new.
Interior comfort and convenience specification includes, but is not limited to: Electrically adjusted, heated leather seats with memory function and automatically retracting front headrests; BMW CD player with Bluetooth telephone connectivity and factory fitted auxiliary input, heated/ cooled armrest cupholder; Gloss black interior embellishment; electrically operated folding door mirrors with kerb tilt function to improve parking visibility, electrochromic dipping rear view mirror, reverse parking proximity sensors, an excellent acclimate control system. The system, when combined with the three stage heated seats, allows comfortable temperatures when driving with the top down on the coldest of days. There is a ski-hatch behind the rear seat which allows longer objects to be transported if required, and there are ISOFIX anchors in the rear seat, which allow this car to be a flexible, fun family car.
The electric hard top roof opens and closes as it should and is leak-free. This car was also specified new with comfort access, which allows you to remotely open the roof with the key. A nice feature to have on sunny days, summar and winter.
As with any car of this age, there are some marks, but nothing significant or seriously detracting from the look of the vehicle. One alloy wheel has some slight kerbing, and there is some flat paint on one side of the car. I believe this is a result of being parked the same way and the sun causing damage to the paint. There are a few small paint chips.
We have enjoyed owning this car and I did intend to run it myself after we procured a replacement, however, I just do not do enough miles to justify owning this in addition to a saloon car. We have replaced the car with a newer folding hard-top cabriolet, and as a result this one is surplus.

We've loved owning this BMW, and I have tried to justify keeping it, in addition to it's replacement, however it really isn't viable for us. The interior is fabulous, good quality nappa leather and it is very much a driver's car, feeling planted on the road even in the worst weather. Both summer and winter, it's a pleasure to have the top down feel the fresh air. The car has a very classy look, being the SE spec, it has chrome embellishments and a multi-spoke wheel design.
