Description
Excelsior Autobyk with 98cc Excelsior Spryt Mk. II engine. Single speed chain drive with Excelsior back pedal rear brake, rubber front suspension, complete with stand, rear carrier and original saddle. Quite a rarity in this mostly original condition with all metalwork sound but showing its age (good patina ?) ( note now has new pedals the only part replaced)
Had been stored for 35 years prior to my purchase but I got in running last year although it will now need some recommissioning/ further work (rewire lighting). It’s very rideable as is or would make an easy refurbishment project, to give a very interesting collectible machine either way. Tyres are quite usable, chrome on rims varies (see photos) V5c in my name, will try to answer any further questions/ send more photos if needed.
