For Sale 1980 Lowrider Shovelhead REDUCED to clear before relocation. Now £9, 999 OVNO
Having owned this for 3 years I’ve decided it’s time to part ways to help fund a relocation.
Prior to myself the bike has had 1 owner and is showing genuine 11500 miles. All numbers match as should and V5 is present in my name.
The bike has its original paint, which wants TLC, but I’ve left it alone as I admire it. With it comes stock seat with sissy bar and pouch, stock oil cooler cover, stock bars, risers and stock carb & air cleaner. Along with some drag pipes, even the owners handbook is present. All black/ silver information stickers still present on the bars, frame etc. too.
Upon arriving in the UK it was given a complete overhaul to ensure it was squeaky clean and ready to go by a local independent motorcycle dealer with proven history of shovelhead knowledge, over £5500 spend making it sound with the intention of a forever bike.
Majority of work carried out can be seen via invoices and with additional documents.
The shovel is just back from the shop having had the original rear brake setup replaced with a new performance machine setup (stock present but requires refurbishing)
New battery, cables, new super E carb and filter assembly, stock pipes refitted, new starter switch, solenoid and relay, and a full service. It’s also had a new Avon front tyre fitted.
The shovel comes with the final few parts to put it back to stock, as stated above. It runs and rides extremely well, starts first time l, is kept in a dry garage and is a joy.
It wants a speedo cable and some TLC to the original paintwork if you want.
Class bike, would loved to have kept it for good but change in circumstances force sale.
Happy to hold on for the right owner, who will hopefully be someone looking for a stock 80’ lowrider!
