An early Soviet era Luaz 967M amphibious vehicle in very good condition after an extensive restoration. These vehicles were used to transport wounded soldiers from the front to rear hospital stations. This particular vehicle is an early version and The vehicle was not originally fitted with the external headlights as fitted now , these can be removed if needed. The vehicle has a 4 speed gearbox with 2/ 4 wheel drive as well as swim drive ? The kms shown on the odometer are not warranted . The vehicle is equipped with 2 ditching ramps , 2 Soviet stretchers and a canvas cover (not in great condition) and a spare wheel , the rear floor was removed for the pictures to show the range of new parts fitted . This vehicle has amazing off road capabilities, it also swims but only really in calm water. It will travel comfortably in 2 wheel drive at 40/ 50 kph The vehicle has a central steering/ seating position, the vehicle also has a bilge pump for used when swimming ideally in calm flat water
