This is a lovely Marlin Kit Car as you can see the body, interior etc looks great, it was certainly well built. It was MOT'd up to July this year and has done hardly any miles since it was MOT'd and you can look up it's MOT history. Underneath is excellent, tyres are all great. It has a 1. 6 Ford engine which I'm told is a cross flow but I'm no expert.
I got it off a friend of mine with the intention of getting it ready to go to the Le Mans Classic but a car I'd been after for ages came up so have decided to part with the Marlin due to lack of space.
My friend spent over £1, 500 on it getting CBR600 carbs fitted and the exhaust modified at a garage as when he bought it the carb was from a 1. 3 and the exhaust was too restrictive however it came back not running right, looks like it needs the carbs balancing, choke cable fitting and a bracket on the exhaust. Personally I'd go back to a Weber carb for simplicity! All electrics seem to work (lights/ wipers etc, new battery and a lot spear parts coming with this car .
The interior is lovely with nice seats and well finished dash as you can see. It comes with loads of paperwork and receipts etc plus an info CD.
It also comes with full weather gear comprising hood, side screens, tonneau cover and side wind deflectors which is worth £££'s on its own, it also has a tow bar fitted.
CBR600 carbs being fitted and engine sounded great then.
Obviously it needs a little work so you can't drive it home so will need a trailer or courier, I use a great guy if you want a quote or just try Shiply etc.
