This factory built car was commissioned by a couple who were not able to self build. The V8 engine was supplied by TVR (with confirmation letter) as a specific requirement by the buyer, this along with the automatic gearbox fold down roof (most cars like this you need to assemble and fit the roof each time you need it) wood dash and lilic leather seats were all part of the request. Along with central locking electric windows truly rare on kit cars and white dials with Marlin included on the display. This car is the only one built in or out of the factory. The origanal colour (in the last photo) was that of the ladys nail varnish which she requested. Since new about 10 years ago the colour was professionally changed to what it is now.
Having only done 9726 miles it is stil fresh and in very sound mechanical condition. Two sets of keys. A huge history file, hand book and full Marlin or TVR service history. New service including oil and filter spark pugs and coolent. The private reg will stay on the car.

ENGINE. TVR 450 V8 which is 4555cc known as a 4. 6! cross bolted main bearings fuel injected and TVR tuned it has a claimed 285bhp (see parkers guide) which gives it an astonishing power to weight ratio. Weight is just 820 kilo it works out ot be almost 350 bhp per tonne. Tubular manifold which is heat wrapped leading into a full stainless steel exhaust. Engine cooled by a new custom bulit alloy radiator by coolex and thurmo swiched electric fan.
GEARBOX. 4 speed ZF automatic. Landrover perhaps?
RUNNING GEAR. Ford Cosworth 2wd limited slip diff. Disc brakes front and rear. Coil springs front and rear. 16 inch wheels with Yokohama tyres.
BODY, A combination of alloy and fiberglass. The front wings/ runner boards are a one off molding for this car. This is a one off built in the Marlin factory. There was no kit supplied based on this car. The one and only ever to exist.
