Description
Rare car. Based on old Mitsubishi Lancer.
All standard, original and complete.
Starts first time and runs perfectly.
Just over 36000 miles from new.
As you’d expect with that mileage, the interior is immaculate.
Body is solid. No welding needed.
New windscreen sourced and with the car ready to fit.
Reliable, simple and pretty much unburstable Japanese mechanicals.
Boot recently got dented and a small hole pierced into it from a falling ridge tile.
Small dent in front bumper.
Windscreen is cracked and delaminating in the corners but a brand new windscreen has been sourced and comes with the car.
Original sunroof opens and closes as a sunroof should but, unfortunately, like many old sunroofs is not so good at keeping the rain out. A. K. A - it leaks.
Paintwork isn’t the best.
No calls after 9pm. First registered in SE London area in November 1992. First owner then sold to a lady from Ireland who imported and registered it in March 1996. She mostly lived in the US hence the low miles. When the car failed its NCT (Irish MoT equivalent) due to a cracked windscreen she decided to buy a brand new Peugeot 3008 SUV after almost 27 years ownership.
Haynes manual with it but service book and owners handbook was mislaid by the lady, perhaps even somewhere in the US.
