My Volkswagen Transporter T5. 1 2012 Panel Van. I have owned this van since March 2014 and it has been fantastic.
The colour really sets this apart from the rest, it is sign written currently and this has been booked in to be professionally removed 16/ 02/ 2024.
The wheels were already upgraded to a split rim style when I purchased the van, they’re grey in colour; however after power washing recently, paint has flaked away and all four will need painting/ refurbishing. All four corners have had recent new tyres.
Interior, as expected after 10 years of use, the cabin shows signs of wear, however since my ownership the chairs and armrests have always had covers on. These were removed today for photography. The condition of these are as new with no signs of wear on the material at all. There are two seats only (driver and passenger). In 2020, I had the Head-unit professionally upgraded and installed, this is an Kenwood unit which includes satellite navigation (£400+) at Crawley Road Radio LTD. The rear has been partially racked as I am and painter and decorator, perspective buyer could obviously remove this.
Exterior, the van had upgraded chrome side rails when I purchased and these have preserved the lower sills, as well as being cosmetic.
The van has a full roof length rack, which has been used for ladders only. There is paint flaking off in areas to the rack, due to use. Again this is easily removable. There is a factory installed bulkhead which is metal, and is marked from general use.
The wing mirrors on each side have been repainted previously, and have since both had further cosmetic scuffs to them.
The rear bumper has light marks and scuffs due to use, all of which appears superficial and would touch up.
The van has a passenger side, slide opening panel door and the rear is an entire one piece tailgate hinged on the roof.
Tow Bar, this was on the van when I bought it, I have never used it/ towed with it.
Recent works, in 2024 it’s had a brand new battery and starter motor, including two new key key fobs, these are coded and function as OEM. (£500+). The van has been serviced at my local garage in my ownership and am happy to share further detail upon request.
My work is generally all local hence the low milage covered in my ownership, this is backed up by the MOT history which is available online. Please feel free to complete a HPI check, however be assured the vehicle isn’t/ hasn’t been a fleet vehicle, has no accident damage or outstanding finance.
The van would serve well in continued trade use, or would make a great day van/ camper conversion. Genuine reason for sale; I have placed a deposit down on a 73 plate Transporter Sportline. I would welcome viewings and am based in Hartfield, East Sussex (15 mins away from Tunbridge Wells and East Grinstead Train Stations. 2. 0 TDI paired with a DSG Automatic Gearbox, delivered with the 4Motion All Wheel Drive drive chain makes for the most useable variant combination for all year round use regardless of weather conditions. The van has a full service history, completed at my local garage.
