1988 Volvo 740

Regrettably selling my 1988 Volvo 740 2. 0 GL manual.
Mileage is 71558, but this is unfortunately not true. The cars odometer has not worked for many years, so true mileage is unknown. The previous owner had stored the car for a while before selling, but I can't give an accurate mileage. Speedo and rev counter work perfectly.
Fuel gauge is very intermittent too, and the headlining has been removed as it was heavily sagged and ripped.
Mechanically, the car is in very good condition. Brakes, clutch and general running are excellent, never fails to start first time and runs smoothly.

It has a brand new head gasket with skimmed head, a new water pump, new radiator, and freshly serviced by myself. PCV system also serviced. MOT is July 2024.

Unfortunately, the left hand bodywork lets the car down, as the previous owner (of which there has only been 2) had a incident, and there is minor damage to the passenger front wing, rear door and rear arch.
However, the body underneath is near perfect, with very little rust, and a very solid chassis. Jacking points and box sections all without rust.
Only selling as I have been using it as a daily replacement for my Alfa which needed restoring, which has now been completed!
