Was going to strip this down and make a Street Custom out of it, but is too nice to do it to, so have got another black 1999 model now.
This was long term owned by chap had to stop riding. He went round Europe 3 times on it, hence the mileage, But runs a treat. The later models seem to go quicker than the early ones, if is just mapping or the fact this one is actually a twin spark engine, i do not know, but it holds 85 on main roads solid, with no stress.

I have changed the main plugs, and oil/ filter etc. Basic pillion pad but has the factory rests. There was a huge top box and mount where seat flip was.
Rear tyre is almost new Cobra, front one is excellent, as is the battery, so no expenses to fork out when buy. Went through whole bike.... brakes and pads and wheel bearings etc.
Note as is about last of the R1200C, apart from twin spark it has the lovely alloy wheels, not the chrome-peelers..... they ALL did, was apparently Spanish chrome, whatever, it all peels off..... the black one i have now got will have to be powder coated!
Has the Independent nice pullback bars of course, not the ape hangers.
ABS works perfectly on the Brembo brakes so have not taken it off on this one. Again maybe an improvement on the early model?
Putting up at a realistic price due to the mileage, but BMW folk will concur that a well maintained and ridden boxer is good for it.
Come to Leominster station and ride home, or i can organise pro delivery for about £120 to England and Wales. Obviously more if up in Scotland etc.
Bike is all ready for summer. Bonus ball is has Hyperpro rear shock as well! Massive improvement on stock item.
Paypal ONLY for say a 100 holding deposit pending uplift or delivery etc. Cash or BACS is fine.
Cosmetics are excellent considering age and mileage. Bike was obviously cared for . Some silver paint on the crash bars, some small chrome lift on lever bodies. Couple of small touched in marks on tank as one would expect, but does not deflect from still being a very striking bike..... something different, and cheap!
New MOT today, no advisories. About 40 mile round trip and ran clean and strong. Excellent handling and braking.
