Description
Here we have for sale a very early Riley RMA 1. 5, with chassis number 10097 this is one of the first 100 cars built, first registered in 1946. The car is in very good condition and was restored in the mid nineties as an extra curricular group project at Mearns Academy, Laurencekirk, Aberdeenshire by the then owner Mr B P. After the restoration it was purchased by a Riley enthusiast and brought to Orkney where he carried on improving and maintaining the car to a high standard while retaining its original features until he passed away in 2022. The body was professionally repainted in 2019. There is a nice history file including all the MOTs from 1997 to 2005 and then online up until the last MOT in 2012. The registration book dating back to 1949 and invoices for £4000 in parts replaced since purchase in 1997. There is also lots of Riley spare parts which are available to the purchaser. The car was last driven in August 2022 when it was at the Orkney Vintage and Classic car Show. The current milage is 45796 miles. As you may have gathered the car is in the Orkney Islands so a bit of traveling involved for any prospective purchaser. I am asking £12, 500.
