For Sale 1973 Clan Crusader Lime Green Fully Rebuilt

Full Bare Shell nut and bolt Rebuild comprising of

Shell
Fully stripped down all ply wood checked and replaced where needed , paintwork fully sanded and prepared then painted in Ford Lime Green . Engine Bay , Front End and underneath fully painted in Black .

Engine
Original Sport Engine with the Block converted to 998 with liners fitted by Andy Jones of Shrigley Engineering , Sport Head with R17 cam new bearings , pistons, rings etc. everything checked over and built back up using 3 new alloy pulley’s new alternator, starter motor , Accuspark , Leads , electric fuel pump , recored radiator , brand new additional electric fan just fitted with manual override. Nearly new , low mileage 28/ 36 Weber conversion with banana inlet manifold and K&N Filter , 4 branch big bore manifold to a SS Silencer again just fitted . All hoses and pipes replaced with new and a new heater matrix and fan motor.

Gearbox
Standard sport box checked over and fitted with new seals , Selector mod and couplings etc.

Steering/ Suspension
Fully rebuilt Rack with new TCA’s and TRE’s , Original Clan Steering Wheel , Fully poly bushed , new GAZ Adjustable shock absorbers with new uprated Clan Springs on the front , rear are currently new standard ones but the uprated ones come with the car . New mounting rubbers etc. all wishbones , engine cradles and steelwork blasted or sanded and painted or powder coated . All 5 wheel’s properly diamond cut and fitted new tyres .

Brakes
Everything new such as wheel cylinders , master cylinder etc or if in a satisfactory condition was renovated , front has a new disc conversion fitted along with a new servo , handbrake cable and mounts .

Interior/ Trim/ Electrics
All window seals replaced , seats original Clan fully professionally reupholstered with new sliders mounting frames etc. complete new sunroof , new carpets and underlay , door trims etc. All gauges fully professionally renovated Speedo set to zero miles , showing 116 miles driven since completed .
Wiring loom fully checked over and improved where needed , new gel battery and master cut off switch . Fuel tank cleaned painted and fitted with new sender , new headlights , switches where needed , new wiper motor , horn washer etc. All windows work correctly with new mechanisms where needed .

In summary the car has had everything either replaced with new or fully renovated and has traveled to date 116 miles , this will increase slightly with some planned use when the weather improves . The car is a very good example that has had everything done to it , not to full concourse standard but it is not advertised or priced as such , but it is ideal for someone who wishes to use it .
