Eventually I worked out that because this is not saddled with all the heavy kit and equipment fitted to modern cars, this thing is lighter, more responsive and more efficient than today's cars. In and out of roundabouts became a joy, the handling was crisp and balanced and put simply, a whole lot of fun. It also sounds great with that 5 pot torquey unit up front. No worries about stupid sensors and engine management lights putting you into limp home mode. Great engineering and build quality that will outlast many a new car on the road today.
