2001 Jaguar XK8 4. 0 Coupe. 77, 800 miles with full-service history
First registered November 2001, Pacific blue with Ivory leather, Oatmeal trim, Milan BBS Jaguar split rim alloys.
The car benefits from a rare in period fitted Paragon full body kit and Paragon full stainless-steel exhaust as well as upgraded steel cam chain tensioners.
This car is in great condition with no rust on the body, even the wheel arches and sill ends are perfect, and the common rust areas underneath are all protected and in good condition. Endoscope inspection inside the sills showed that at an early stage in the cars life cavity wax was applied. The side skirts have recently been removed and were not hiding any corrosion, more wax oil was applied before refitting.
Full-service history with 17 stamps (the book has extra pages inserted) and only 1200 miles since the last full service. There is a large history file with receipts including the body kit and cam chain tensioners, old MOT’s, service receipts. The original handbook pack is present as are the three keys and two key fobs.
Since December 2020 the car has had:
• A professional corrosion prevention treatment.
• In 2022 the alloy wheels were fully refurbished with powder coated centres, painted barrels and mirror polished trims.
• In Jan 2023 four new matching Pirelli tyres were fitted and a 4-wheel alignment was done.
• The driver’s seat was professionally re-coloured to remove a poorly executed previous spot repair, so the leather is now in excellent condition with very little wear even on the driver’s seat bolster.
• The loose headlining was replaced for a fibreglass backed one.
• XKR rear wheel arch spats fitted
• A specialist Bluetooth adapter from the US was installed which integrates Bluetooth music streaming and phone calls through the cars stereo system. It utilises the existing CD multiplayer input while allowing the multiplayer to still be used and the volume controls on the steering wheel work.
• Air conditioning re-gassed
• All courtesy light bulbs including the boot and glove box have been replaced with LED to reduce battery drain.
I have custom made leather covered cup holders, a mirror polished phone holder with Jaguar leaper and protection covers for the centre console and door leather.
The only fault I know of is that the remote locking key fobs must be held near the rear window to work. The owner’s forum has a document explaining how to fix this, it’s a dry electrical joint.

I bought the car during lockdown to replace my modern daily car and it has been a fantastic car to own and drive, I now have a company car so it’s time to let the next person enjoy this one. Because it has been in regular use you can be sure there won’t be any surprises.
The car can be given a new MOT before collection.
