Only 81, 136 Miles and in excellent condition inside and out. no rust or rot and all factory white underseal is still present in all wheel arches, jacking points and underbody seams.

I've owned the car since July 2023, selling it just because I need to slim down my collection, four former owners.
Complete with the original Honda handbooks, service book and the Special Edition promotional booklet
Oil and fluid Service in February of this year at 80, 806 miles by Templar Classics including a differential flush and fill.
Record shows stamps to 40, 200 miles in 2013, then a gap to the latest service this year. The place I purchased the car from always looked after the car for the previous owner regarding servicing but unfortunately failed to stamp the books. When I purchased the car they also carried out an oil service but again failed to stamp the book.
Invoices, inspection sheets and receipts detailing servicing and maintenance are in the folder. Along with the special edition Honda Championship White promotional booklet, which is a nice touch!

The front seats are the classic factory ‘Type R’ sports seats, and they show very well, with no sagging or wear to the side bolsters and I have had protective seat covers on the front pair since i purchased the car to further preserve them.
Rear bench seat is in excellent condition with a split fold seat and has storage area underneath the rear bench. When folded, the seats lay completely flat to the boot maximising space in the already surprisingly large boot.

All dashboard plastics, switchgear and instruments are in excellent condition with no excessive wear and actually a less used appearance than expected.
As stated the boot is larger than you'd expect with underfloor storage and the original Honda jack and tool kit.

The paintwork shows off extremely well, with one or two minor chips and blemishes and a light scuff to the lower portion of the near-side side skirt
The bonnet and roof have been professionally resprayed during my ownership to remove the classic staining that appears on the roof-windscreen seal line. A new windscreen was fitted at the same time with brand new rubbers. the bonnet respray was carried out due to several stone chips being present that always bugged me.
All of the bodywork Is in excellent condition, with no corrosion, damage or dents I am aware of.
Similarly, all of the badging and trim is present and correct, with the light lenses and glass also in good condition with no chips or cracks.
The wheels were refurbished before my purchase of the car by the previous owner and they never used them to save them getting damaged. And credit to the previous owner because they are immaculate.
Factory Limited Slip Differential fitted as it was on all Championship White editions. the diff locks up well and shows no signs of wear. as stated previously, the diff was attended to on the latest service by means of a flush and refill - an absolute vital and overlooked service item on these.
This type R is in completely factory specification with no modifications and it would appear that no one has messed about with anything! very hard to find this nowadays.
recent work includes - large service, new battery, wiper blades, windscreen, air conditioning condenser and recharge, differential service, suspension top mounts and anti-roll bar drop links.
There are no known issues to me, the belly pan is all present and correct with no evidence of any leaks of any kind. There are no known mechanical issues to be aware of.

When I purchased this car, I had already seen several others around the same price mark and walked away from all of them within 20 minutes. A quick glance underneath and in the wheel arches tells you that most of these are badly corroded and either badly concealed or just left. Some have signs they have been messed about with or modified, but this car was the complete opposite, its obvious it has been looked after very well, has wanted for nothing and has been kept off of our salty winter roads for the majority of its life. . . . And so I had to have it, unfortunately I have come to terms with the fact that I need to cut down on the vehicles and so this one was last in so first out.
The Honda drives fantastically and engages vTec without issue or smoke. The gearbox is tight and precise, the engine is smooth and eager to pick up pace. The handling and road holding is excellent and with encouragement the differential will lock up and pull the car hard wherever you point it.
As a limited production of a very special vehicle at the heart of hot hatches and motorsport in general, I'm sure one of these in great preserved condition like this one will make a perfect future classic as an iconic naturally aspirated hot hatch.
The next owner will love it.
