I purchased this bike in 2017, as a running (but tatty) bike. The plastic water pump drive failed in 2021, so began a ten month restoration. Following the restoration, the engine was "run in" as per new bike procedure, and has now covered over twelve hundred miles since the rebuild. Receipts for all the work carried out are included, together with Haynes workshop manual and the original owners manual. A (very large) new project has since arrived, and I need the space. Viewings welcome. Mileage will increase, now the sun has made an appearance.

Accent electronic ignition fitted.
All brightwork rechromed.
Anti surge jets fitted.
Carburettor to air box rubbers replaced.
Carburettors ultrasonically cleaned.
Complete Delkevic exhaust system installed.
Engine oil seals replaced.
Frame fittings replaced with stainless steel screws, nuts and bolts.
Frame sand blasted and powder coated.
Front brake seals replaced.
Front fork seals replaced and new oil added.
New air filter.
New chrome points cover.
New chrome rims and stainless steel spokes.
New crank seals, crank balanced, cylinder re-honed and new pistons.
New rear wheel cushion drive rubbers.
New engine rubber mounts.
New indicator relay.
New footrest rubbers.
New front & rear wheel bearings.
New pilot air jets.
New reconditioned water pump.
New regulator/ rectifier.
New throttle butterfly seals.
New wiring loom.
Radiator pressure checked and repainted.
Seat replaced. (now with plastic (no rot) base.
Side cover and tank decals fitted.
SRIS pipes and faulty check valve replaced.
Stainless steel tab washers front and back wheel.
Stainless steel hose and carburettor clips.
Stainless steel cylinder head bolts.
Switchgear refurbished.
Tank and side panels resprayed.
Water pump drive sprocket replaced. I believe the current milage to be correct. I have an MOT certificate dating from 1987 showing 13460 miles, with subsequent ones up until 2018 showing 13877. The bike was then registered as historic, and became tax and MOT exempt.
