After 12 years of ownership this very Special Commando has undergone quite an evolution.

The Tigers on the side panels offer a nod to what once was (many years ago)... Pre Unit Triumph Style cases, with Commando Crank, Nova Barrels and a 8 Valve head all coupled to a Norton primary and AMC gearbox. The whole engine was really quite special with bespoke cradle/ isolastics mounts but needless to say was a fanciful idea/ novelty which would never be quite as good as an original engine.

After resigning myself to the fact that the special “engine” was now a thing of the past, I set about sourcing an 850 unit that would essentially be rebuilt throughout as a strong and dependable motor for the foreseeable future.

Motor aside, the striking look of the bike has very much been styled to represent (my interpretation) of what an "Ultimate Commando" may be with a nod to Commando’s own evolution with a selection of rare and bespoke period parts.

From the frame to the forks, wheels, discs and swingarm nothing is standard and warrants from all a second and third inquisitive look.

I will be very sad to this very special Commando go, which has been part of my life for some time. She will make the new owner very happy and will give me some much needed time to focus on something new!

The bike is as good as she looks in the pictures!!

Very much priced to sell.

Any questions please feel free to ask or give me a call to talk through the bike and its time with me. A truly unique Commando that will stand out from the crowd!!
