For sale my lovely old Riley RME, the last of the proper Rileys before British Leyland got their hands on them. It's got the 1500 twin cam engine and these cars were always the preserve of bank managers, solicitors etc. (when they were thought of as upper class!)
I've had her for 7 years and she's only had 5 owners, including me, and I have the old green log book.
The last owner had her for over 10 years and he totally rebuilt her and I've got the photos to prove.
Prior to this she spent a long time off the road so the mileage could be correct as I've only done about 2, 000 since I got her.

I have loads of receipts etc. and since I've had her she's had an oil change every year, despite little mileage.
Modern modifications - spin off oil filter, stainless exhaust, and winkers, although the semaphores do work.
She drives really well and once into top will cruise about 60 and with standard rack and pinion steering! she handles much better than most cars of that age.
Interior leather is good, carpets lovely and all instruments work, oil pressure is great.
Tyres - radials - still good.
She obviously doesn't need tax or mot and I have workshop manuals and loads of spares.
She's a real classy old girl that has given me no trouble and I'm only selling cos I've got too many classics now so she's not going to as many shows as previously and she needs more using.
One very important thing about Rileys is that if you join the club the spares situation is incredible with nearly everything available.
Absolutely incredible for cars of this age.,
