2004 Land Rover Discovery 2 4. 0 V8 petrol automatic. This is my rather lovely Land Rover Discovery 2 V8, a Japanese import from 2019. The chassis is simply stunning and in superb condition, this has been commented on by several L/ R specialists and in my ownership, I have protected it with Dinitrol, which is a superb product. The engine bay is ridiculously clean, with all the Japanese stickers still in place. The interior is very tidy, all electrics work, speedo in KMs and original radio. Twin sunroofs, which work, this is rare but for those in the know, I’d recommend keeping them closed. The seats and carpets are remarkably clean and unmarked. The half leather and suede seats are in excellent condition, and I have covered them in seat covers, which I will sell with the vehicle along with rubber mats throughout including the boot, if the offer is at or very close to the asking price. She is fitted with 18” Hurricane wheels with 4 matching tires, the aircon is cold, she drives very well, engine praised by L/ R specialist, I’ve had her services recently including a new battery, the V8 is smooth and willing, even the cruise control works, all transfer boxes and low range work correctly. This is a 7-seater version. Correct air suspension all working correctly. The rear hydraulic step is not only fitted but working! Roof railings are fitted. Honestly, a superbly sorted Disco 2 and happy to pass her on to an enthusiast. The only minor imperfections to mention are the roof liner is acceptable for now but in due course would benefit from some attention and there is some slight fading on some of the plastic wheel arches along with a few scratches on the otherwise very good black coachwork. In summary, a fantastic opportunity to buy a really solid and useable Disco 2 V8, that underside has been so protected thanks to the salt free roads of Japan and is now well protected for our UK roads.
