Description
A bit of an unusual situation, but I find myself tasked with helping my Aunt sell her 2002 T-Bird which has been sitting in her underground garage in Paris since 2013. In original US spec.
The car was won in a raffle in Florida and shipped over to Le Havre (French import duties paid) where it was driven to Paris and parked up in a secure underground car park where it has sat ever since. The car seems to be in fantastic condition but I'm sure it will require re-commissioning after such a long spell of inactivity. Miles are around 70-80k.
To further complicate matters, it was never re-registered in France so is still just on the original California plates with all of the bill of sale and other US title documents.
Given it has already been imported into France and is of course a left hand drive vehicle it makes the most sense to sell within mainland Europe from the current location (I'm in the UK and had contemplated bringing it back over here but that's just too complicated)
Incoming buyer will be responsible for recovering the vehicle from an underground garage in Paris (15th Arr) and registering the car in whatever region is relevant as well as undertaking whatever needs to be done for conformity - headlights etc.
