Scout II in original condition, sold new in Sweden 1977. All history present, including original line ticket, manuals, Swedish language manual and 1977 promotional brochure. MOTs since 1989 showing mileage (in km), only 2993km covered since 1989. Featured 2011 in Swedish Magazine Teknikens Värld. Body restored and repainted in original color 2021. Original interior in extremely good condition. Engine and automatic gearbox haven't been touched, and in original condition. Runs very nicely, used frequently on sunny summer days. Hardtop resprayed, but needs re-lining. Soft top also included. The International Harvester Scout is an off-road vehicle produced by International Harvester from 1960 to 1980. A precursor of more sophisticated SUVs to come, it was created as a competitor to the Jeep, and it initially featured a fold-down windshield.
The Scout and second-generation Scout II were produced in Fort Wayne, Indiana as two-door trucks with removable hard tops. Scout IIs were manufactured from April 1971 to 1980.
Most Scout IIs where jacked or modified in various ways, very few have survived in its original condition, this is a great opportunity to purchase a well maintained Scout II in its original state.
