Description
This is a 1955 Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire MkII. It has a semi-automatic box. I have had the seats all reupholstered and new headlining. All gearbox filters, gaskets, seals and fluid replaced. New distributor cap, rotor arm, plugs & leads. New master & rear brake cylinders. Complete exhaust system made. There are still a few cosmetic jobs that you could do if you wish. She certainly draws a lot of attention. She is a true drivers car (not like a modern car), you know you have been driving her, specially with no power steering she is a heavy car to manoeuvre. Unfortunately most of my drivers cant manage her so reluctantly she is up for sale. Not going to pretend she is a challenge, but a worthwhile one. Lots of history with the car, paperwork, handbook and service manual. The car spent many years in Switzerland. The Armstrong is part of my wedding car fleet but very few of my chauffeurs are willing to drive her (the older ones like myself are ok but the ladies cant manage). So I have decided to reduce my fleet. I am a member of the Armstrong owners club who are very helpful and can supply parts.
