'78 LHD Westfalia Berlin
This 1978 Westfalia Berlin arrived from California in 2014, at which point Paul & his wife purchased it & have love it ever since. Its finished in Pastel White over Taiga Green, which still looks great today, with only a slight bit of bubbling on the front panel as you can see in the photos. It nips along really nicely , powered by a 2 litre type 4 engine, so hills and long journeys are taken in his stride. Its been very well maintained over the years and just in in June of this year was noted to be "Underside found to be exceptionally clean & solid" by Dan Mundays Busstop VW specialist, so a very nice bus. You note on the outside it has a side step & some really nice grey Empi style 5 spoke alloys with polished rims. The canvas in the elevating roof is in clean condition. It also come complete with a drive away awning, so all ready to enjoy. open the cab doors , to be greeted by the original front seats , still wearing their original , super '70's green plaid Westy fabric, which is continued through to the rock'n'roll bed. You have a sink and twin gas hob, with cupboards bellow & then a top loading fridge. Then lift up the seat to see not only more storage but also a heater to allow all year round camping. In the rear corner there's even more storage with the wardrobe. One of the great things about the Berlin is the double hard based bunk in the roof , so this really does offer a great 4 berth camper.
