Good morning,
I have a truly unique car to sell. This is a beautiful 1986 BMW 635 Csi that is unheard of in nature today. A car that was the top of the sports coupe class on the day of its launch and its glory years continue today. A few of the following features make my bmw unique in Europe (if not the world) and worthy of the attention of motoring fans (especially admirers of the brand from Bavaria):
1. This is the European version
2. The car was sold as new by a BMW dealer to a customer in Sweden
3. It was carefully used until 2000 and had covered just over 70, 500km at the time
4. Today's mileage is 73, 500 km
5. Every kilometre of mileage is documented
6. The car has a complete service history with the original booklet
7. Everything in the car is absolutely original including factory stickers and decals
8. The BMW bears virtually no signs of use, it is safe to say that it is basically in its factory condition and looks like it just rolled off the production line.
9. BMW has all keys and central locking remote controls with their factory numbering
10. Production 1985 / 10months demo car in Sweden / first registered summer 1986
Two years after purchase, the car was professionally corrosion-protected and was subsequently checked regularly and repeatedly. It saw the rain occasionally and the owner took the best care of the car without saving on literally anything. It's visible to the naked eye and I'm sure it's hellishly difficult to find a comparable specimen today.
The BMW then went into a heated, air-conditioned room for the next 23 years and, for a variety of random reasons, was only started and moved. It was there until this spring. After the 'awakening', the car received a complete service including an inspection of absolutely the entire vehicle. Surprisingly it didn't need too much, everything done was done by super-specialists dealing with vintage cars with great care. Replaced:
1. Brake lines and rear brake fittings - BMW original (they weren't bad but questionable)
2. Complete clutch - original BMW (there was no need for it, but after so many years the specialists decided that there was no reason to risk and save on such a specimen)
3. New tyres
4. New brake booster servo
5. New brake fluid
6. The engine has undergone a flush and has been filled with new oil
7. All filters and belts that showed signs of use have been replaced - BMW originals
8. The radiator looks like new - however, it was flushed and new fluid was refilled
9. Changed gearbox oil
10. Changed oil in the rear axle
Nothing else this beauty needed
The Bmw is factory-fitted with:
1. M sports seats
2. M sports steering wheel
3. Cruise control
4. On-board computer
5. Original BBS rims
6. Its original velour floor mats
7. Its original rubber floor mats (like new, just need to be chemically cleaned which I didn't do for fear of damaging them. I don't know much about that).
8. It has its serial steering wheel (BMW was being retrofitted at dealerships at the time) in its original box (unbelievable that such things survived. There is also the original box for the radio.
I have been involved with vintage and classic motoring for many years. In my opinion, the BMW is in perfect condition and finding another one like it will border on the miraculous (if at all possible in the European version). The car smells like new and takes you magically back to a time when powerful sports coupes had their own unique character.
The configuration is so beautiful that this car can be admired for hours. It is impossible to describe in words what quality and value on the original condition 635 CSI - it must have been an absolute stunner in those years and to this day it certainly beats many other prestigious models from BMW and other respected brands alike.
Leaving aside the investment value (which is indisputable) the emotional charge of this original BMW is such that I myself stood by it an hour after it arrived and didn't know what to admire first - the configuration? The condition? The smell? The sound? It’s amazing. A car truly worthy of recommendation to the most discerning, it is an absolute. A white raven.
I am selling the car with a margin invoice (buyer's exemption from legal transaction tax in Poland), with a set of Swedish documents, with a Polish inspection valid for a year and a Polish third-party liability policy.
